Kick-Off Meeting of the SignWell Academy Project Successfully Held

The Kick-Off Meeting of the SignWell Academy / Psychological Literacy for the Deaf Community project (Project Number: 2025-1-FI01-KA210-ADU-000357452) was successfully held with the participation of all project partners. The meeting was hosted by Olektia OY.

The meeting started with a welcome session and introductions, followed by presentations of the partner organisations. During the meeting, the coordinator presented the project, its objectives, target groups, expected results, and the long-term vision of the project.

​

The partners discussed all project activities, including project management, the development of the SignWell Academy E-Learning Portal, the preparation of the Psychological Literacy Training Programme for the Deaf Community, and the development of the project's e-learning materials.

In the second part of the meeting, the partners reviewed the project work plan, task distribution, dissemination activities, budget management, and the schedule of future international meetings. The project calendar was also discussed in detail, taking into account the interim report deadline.

The Kick-Off Meeting provided an excellent opportunity for the partners to establish a shared understanding of the project objectives and responsibilities. With strong cooperation and careful planning, the partnership is ready to begin implementing the project activities and to contribute to improving psychological literacy within the Deaf community through accessible and inclusive learning opportunities.
