TRANSNATIONAL COOPERATION

SW vertc (11).png

To successfully implement the Project and achieve its objectives, cooperating with transnational partners will be a critical advantage. Partnering with organizations from different countries will enhance the quality of education and expand the Project 's inclusivity.

Key Benefits of Transnational Cooperation:

  • Understanding the needs of deaf communities in different countries: Mental health services for deaf individuals vary across countries and access to these services is often hindered by different barriers. Through transnational cooperation, we will gain deeper insights into the common and country-specific challenges faced by deaf communities. This will allow us to develop a more comprehensive and inclusive educational model.

  • Sharing expertise in mental health and sign language: Our transnational partners have expertise in sign language education, mental health services and the development of accessible educational materials. Sharing knowledge and experiences across the countries of the Project partners will lead to the creation of a scientifically grounded and well-structured PL Training Program.

  • Integrating cultural and linguistic diversity: Sign languages differ across countries. Working with transnational partners will ensure that educational materials are designed to accommodate cultural and linguistic variations. Thus, the PL Training Program can be easily adapted by deaf people who are in different countries and use different sign languages.

  • Expanding the reach of the digital learning portal: The E-Learning Portal will be accessible not only locally but also internationally. Transnational cooperation will support the promotion of the Portal across Europe. This will allow it to reach a larger number of deaf individuals.

  • Stronger alignment with Erasmus+ priorities: One of the main objectives of the Erasmus+ Programme is to increase inclusivity in education and make lifelong learning more accessible. By collaborating with international partners, the Project will contribute to achieving these goals on a broader European scale.

  • Strengthening the sustainability of the Project outcomes: After the Project is completed, the partnerships established will allow The E-Learning Materials and the E-Learning Portal to be continuously updated and expanded. This transnational collaboration will ensure the long-term sustainability of the Project’s results.

  • Increasing dissemination and impact: Through the extensive networks of transnational partners, Project results will be shared with universities, NGOs, education centers and mental health service providers across different countries. This will expand the Project's impact and increase global access to mental health education for deaf individuals.
